So we left prague 'the big village' as i named it.somewhere that looked an excellent place for a night or weekend without the kids ! Bev loved the architecture, jem and charlotte loved the playground by charles bridge, zoe loved the taste of czech paper and i loved the thought of being 10years younger and going on a bar crawl with the guys wearing the 'underground prague' t-shirts !
Today we 'drove' painfully to berlin (i drove and it was a short relaxing drive...bev sat in the back with the 'road angels')
We set a spot to camp (yes..in tomtom) and fortunately came across a different spot just outside berlin earlier. Camp 'jagerbude' was quiet when we arrived but there was an odd group of people arriving at the same time which we thought nothing of. Later it turns out the campsite was the home of 'frank zander' and his musical extravaganza for the evening ! Not seen him yet but the dry ice, cover songs from 'who the frock is alice' to 'hey baby...ooh..ahh..i wanna knowww..if you'll be my girl' to the song (my favourite) with the animal sounds, scaffolding pipe, maracas at the end of each verse and now 'mac-a-raina' ...he'll look like he's just left pontins :-) that said, the kids loved dancing round the van in their pjs to the warm up group !
Blimey..he's just finished...we're waiting for him to disappear into the sky in his personal rocket... Or a bicycle..
So now the extravaganza is over and we've nearly finished the samuka its time to go to bed !
